Working a triangle submission

Are you interested in learning martial arts but aren’t willing to pay the expensive gym fees? Join the Saddleback MMA club that’s cost $30, it is informative and fun.

The MMA club doesn’t require any previous knowledge of mixed martial arts at all; you don’t even need any gear. They will work with you in every way possible to make your experience fun and informative.

The styles of fighting that are practiced are boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Savate, Wing Chung and Philipino martial arts. There is sparring in the class, but if you’re not comfortable with that, then you don’t need to participate in that part. The sparring will go at the pace most suitable for you.

Meetings are an hour and 15 minutes long.

“We start off with weapons, we’ll start out with a knife (a small rubber stick) we will move to the stick, bringing out certain attributes” club President Ernest Raheb said. “Depending on the curriculum, whether we are working on Brazilian Jui Jitsu or some Wing Chung or Pilipino martial arts, we will do some drills, then we will do some live sparring.”

So if you’re interested in learning the ways of martial arts, then go check out Saddleback College’s MMA club. They operate out of two locations from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., either at PE Room 306 or Vivos fitness in Dana Point.
