Childcare Development Center offers student programs and child daycare

Saddleback College’s Child Development Center offers great child care programs and daycare. Located in the CDC building and open 5 days a week, 7:00 am-6:00 pm.

Daycare is staff with well-educated teachers and provides a healthy growing environment for children. It cares for children between the ages 18 months to kindergarten entry and open between 7:30-5:30 pm.

“Each class is taken care by child development specialists. ” Administrative Assistant, Nick Schmidt said. “There are five classrooms each attached to it’s own outdoor area. ”

Daycare is split between toddler and preschool programs allowing children to grow at their pace and age.

Student classes help with learning more about children, certified to work with children, and understand the development process.

Class training is based on practical as well as observational work.

Childcare is offered to students, teachers, and the community. Students of Saddleback College that are enrolled in 6 or more units per semester are eligible for 20% discount off the daycare rate.
