California Native Plant Society presents “At home with natives 2013”

Saddleback College horticulture and landscape design department hosted the California Native Plant Society’s Orange County Chapter symposium Oct. 19, 2013. 

“Sustainable: Native plants are natural. They need much less water than conventional landscape choices, and no pesticides or fertilizers,” according to the organization’s brochure.

Guest speakers shared knowledge and hints in how to plant and design our gardens with California native plants with the added bonus of natural habitats for our wildlife.
