Speech and Debate Team holding fundraiser

The nationally ranked Speech and Debate Team will have a fundraising showcase on March 7 at 5 p.m. in the McKinney Theatre.
“The showcase is mainly for exposure and entertainment for people who don’t know what the Speech & Debate Team is about. Also, to bring diverse art and a general celebration of speech,” Lucas Ochoa, speech instructor and forensics coach, said.
Tickets will be $7 at the door and proceeds of the event will go toward future out of state competitions.
