Wag your tail at the Saddleback College inaugural Dog Fair

Saddleback College students in the business and entrepreneurship programs will host “Dog Fair 2015” next Thursday, April 30, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the main Quad, opening with a dog walk. The event benefits local no-kill shelters and dog rescue organizations.

Friendly competition will include several “best” competitions including best ears, tail wagger, trick and costume. There will also be booths for dog photography and a dog kissing booth.

On hand will be representatives and demonstrations by Guide Dogs of America, K9 West dog training, the Orange County Sheriff’s K-9 unit and more. Local dog-related businesses will also have informative pet owner workshops for day-to-day maintenance such as how to brush a dog’s teeth.

Those thinking about adopting a dog will have the opportunity to take home a four-legged new family member.

“Dog Fair 2015” is open to the public with a $10 donation, which includes parking in Lot 5A.

Further information is available on the Saddleback College website, as well as Facebook and Instagram.  See also the event flyer.
